For those of you keeping in touch with me you will remember that I left to have a baby in July 2009.  I have reported since then that I had a beautiful baby boy, Lance.  He is almost four months old now and what a treat he has been.  He is currently enrolled in daycare so that I can attend the needs of my client.

Having a child sheds an entire new light in the custody world.  I see first hand why a mother or father would go crazy to see their child everyday.  Unfortunately, that is not the case in divorces.  When two people get divorced their children are a huge part as well.  It is best to try to put your emotions to the side and think what is the best for our child.  The key word in that sentence was “our” child.  It is always best to have both parents a part of the children’s life.  Dont be ugly during the divorce when it come to the children, save that battle for the property.  Allow as much visitation as possible, the children need as much love and support from both parents.
